| Derek V. Brown has been a member of IKON Realty Group since its inception in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Derek began brokering commercial real estate in mid 2006 after owning and operating several successful quick service restaurants. This unique retailer perspective, makes Derek a great advisor to any potential retailer.
Prior to entering commercial real estate, Derek graduated from Notre Dame University. At Notre Dame, Derek started all four years in the Tight End position under Lou Holtz, where he won a National Championship in 1988. Upon graduation, Derek was drafted into the NFL in the first round, 14th overall pick to the New York Giants in 1992. Derek spent 9 years playing professional football before retiring in 2000.
Derek specializes in both Landlord and Tenant Representation, Office, and Warehouse. Derek also works with real estate investors both large and small. Derek is quickly becoming known for his work not only on the field, but also off the field in commercial real estate.
Derek is actively involved in his community, volunteering with NFL Alumni Association Caring for Kids, The Center for Disabilities, and HH Hole in the Woods. Derek also speaks to organizations and colleges about motivation and success. |
